Exciting Online Games That Make for a Great Night in

The weekend has arrived, but all your energy has been sapped and you don’t even feel like getting up to make a cup of tea. What do you do? A fun way of having some stress-free fun is to plug in and play some new, exciting online games that are floating around the Internet.

Whether your vice is gambling or gunning zombies down, there is something for everyone to be found online for your gaming pleasure. This article goes over five of our all-time favorites.

Online bingo

Online gambling has taken the industry by storm, and it’s easy to see why. The industry has kept on its toes with the advent of Smartphone and tablet computer technology, extending its online playing capabilities to these devices.

Bingo is one of the most successful of these ventures and Mecca Bingo is one of the most popular sites, winning the prestigious Which Bingo UK Site of the Year Award for its simple yet innovative layout, as well as its exclusive deals and player incentives. Be warned – this site is quite addictive!

Borderlands 2

The sequel to the seminal action role-playing first-person-shooter, this game brings all the best things about the original, and then some. Playing as one of five vault-hunters on the planet Pandora, you have to complete the game by accomplishing all of the quests, plus some optional side-quests too.

The key to the fun behind this game is its online collaborative nature. You can link up with friends online and complete the campaign together, as well as playing death-matches as well.

Dead Space 3

This is definitely not for the faint of heart. The third chapter in probably the most terrifying series of video games ever created, the unique selling point of Dead Space 3 is that it features online co-operative campaign play.

This means you can link up with one other person online to play the game with, as a separate character. If you think this makes the game less scary, you’re probably very, very wrong.

Gears of War: Judgement

It hasn’t been released yet, but when it is, all hell will break loose. Set up as a prequel to the original trilogy of Xbox-exclusive games, Gears of War: Judgement will allow the usual offline two-player co-operative campaign.

What’s new is that you’ll be able to join up to three other players online to play the game co-operatively. It’s expected to blow our minds, and we’re pretty sure it will.

Battlefield 3

Multiplayer shooters can get a bit tiresome because of the map limitations. Battlefield 3 is one of the few games that give you large amounts of space to explore. With as many as 64 players per map, you can take part in epic battles, controlling points with fighter jets, helicopters, tanks jeeps and quad bikes. If you’re looking for a tactical shooter with a difference, look no further than Battlefield 3
